Six Week Course

In-depth hand-building course with pottery wheel taster session. Welcoming , supportive and suitable for beginners/intermediate.

This class doesn’t cover the wheel throwing though I do offer one-on-one wheel tutoring. Each class has only 8 spaces in order to give everyone plenty of space to work in and chance to get supportive guidance through the projects.

One Day Hand-Building Taster Workshop

Creative introductory workshop where you’ll get a great foundation in versatile skills.

You’ll also learn several surface design techniques including sgraffito, stamping, carving, and paper resist. All work is then fired, glazed and ready to be collected from the studio after two weeks.

One-to-One Lesson on the Potter’s Wheel

Intensive three hour session to improve throwing skills and build confidence on the wheel

I specialise in wheel-throwing and my ceramics are all made on the wheel so I know it takes a lot of practice and patience to build up your skills. It is hard to find places to practice and pottery wheels are expensive. So, I am now offering two-hour one-on-one lessons to people who either want a supportive first try with expert guidance, or those who have experience of wheel throwing and want to hone their skills. The session can be completely tailored to any skill level and will focus on the areas you want to improve.

Details: Times are flexible so if you contact me we can arrange a time that suits you.
Studio 304, South Block Studios, G1 5QH.
£110 to book, including all materials and firings.

If you cancel for any reason within 7 days of the class starting the cost will not be refunded. If you cancel before this you will be entitled to a full refund.
